Hot weather can affect how medicines work and how our bodies respond to them.

For those managing psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis:

- How do you store your medicines when it’s really hot?
- Do you change your routine to avoid dehydration or sunburn?
- What works best for you in a heatwave?

Could a symptom diary help you?

When you're living with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, symptoms can change from day to day. Keeping a simple diary can help you spot patterns you might otherwise miss.

Try noting:
The date
Skin or joint symptoms
How you slept
Any possible triggers
Medications or treatments
How you felt overall

Over time, these notes can be useful when discussing your condition with your healthcare professional and may help you recognise what affects your symptoms.

PAPAA is here to provide trusted information and support every step of the way.

Visit www.papaa.org to explore our free resources.

Do you keep a symptom diary or use an app to track your condition? Share your tips below, they could help someone else.

Quick Question...

If you could make a wish to change **one thing** about living with psoriasis or psoriatic arthritis, what would it be?

Less itching?
Less pain?
Better sleep?
More understanding from other people?
Easier access to treatments?
Something completely different?

There's no right or wrong answer, and everyone's experience is unique.

Your answer might be exactly what someone else is feeling today—and knowing they're not alone can make all the difference.

An all-female cycling team, organised by Nat Bowbrick, took on the Chase the Sun South challenge to raise funds for PAPAA.

Together, the team rode 215 km in warm conditions over demanding terrain. Although they did not complete the full 330 km route, they achieved more than they thought possible through teamwork, determination and mutual support.

For one rider living with psoriatic arthritis, this endurance event felt especially meaningful. Psoriatic arthritis can cause pain, fatigue and flares, and there have been times when long-distance cycling seemed out of reach. Supporting PAPAA gave each training ride and every kilometre on the day a clear sense of purpose.

More than £1,200 has been raised for PAPAA, and the rider shared her thanks to everyone who donated, encouraged and supported her. Completing the ride without a significant psoriatic arthritis flare during or immediately after the event was a personal highlight and a major achievement.

At PAPAA we solute the effort and thank all who took part and donated so generously to support our work.

There is still time to donate at https://www.justgiving.com/page/nat-cts
