We are loving delivering our Vintage Christmas (including Hannukah and Winter Solstice) Reminiscence Sessions. What traditions did your family have? Ours centred around the kitchen. My mother soaked the dried fruit in sherry overnight, before making the Christmas Cake and we all took a turn in stirring the mixture and making a wish (never to be told). Once cooked, the cake was left to cool and turned daily whilst adding a drizzle of brandy. It certainly explains a few things after my normally quiet and serious grandparents had consumed several slices... 🤣🤣🤣
