S O U T H D O W N S Y O G A 🌳

Holiday musings.
Miles and time don't matter with rooted friendships.

I grew up in Worthing, West Sussex, in the same house until I left at 20 years.

Vicky lived across the road from the house i grew up in with her daughter Becky, my brothers age.

My mums dear friend and mine now too.
I used to listen to their chats! Wise women, navigating life with children.
She watched me grow up. She gave me reiki for a bad neck after a night out.
I'll never forget that and her kindness is always worn openly.

A spiritual person with a Buddhist approach with passion and hilarity.

Friendships from earlier days can often feel deeper. These are the people who watched you grow up, who know you and love you.

So when she saw me post about beach yoga in Cornwall, and said, I wish you were here doing that, we met up for a walk and had a spontaneous little session on the South downs. Highdown.

It made us feel lovely. 😌 🌞
Also, the connection with my mum, holding hands, helped us feel closer to her. 🩷

Yoga is connection, so is walking bare feet. Breathing fresh air. Taking time. Being kind. Sharing hugs.

This is what B E A C H Y o g a looked like on Isles of Scilly a few days ago.

Soooo hot, it was S E A Yoga, Sea'yoga! On St Marys, cooling off staying chill in the sea.

We are back on Pendower beach this Sunday at 5.30pm 🧜‍♂️🧜‍♀️🌊☀️

The first and only time I travelled to the Isles of Scilly, off Cornwall, was in... 2022? Aboard Pilot Cutter Tallulah
I brought back a Scilly map tea- towel of all things!
Plus lots of memories of agapanthus flowers, seals, dolphins on the way, beautiful white sand, idylic yoga spots, fresh but clear water.

I'm jumping back on Tallulah today to hopefully share some yoga and simple relaxation onboard with guest crew.

Since we'll be there Wednesday, our stars are aligning for a perfect spot for solar eclipse, and the yearly Persaides meteor shower peaking 12th- 13th.

Get sky watching!

A sunny nourishing last class of the SUMMER term, here at St Just in Roseland.

Wishing you all a relaxing break- thank you to all who have attended.

We will continue on Pendower beach, for beach yoga Sundays 9am and this Fri 7th Aug 5.30pm for Yoga & Pizza night. 💙

Back for a new term of hall based classes from Monday 14th Sept.

Feel free to make contact if you'd like to join a class for then.
