Paws and applause on International Dogs Day at Amberley🐶✨ This morning, our residents enjoyed having their picture taken with Alfie, our admin manager’s gorgeous dog. Earlier, creativity was flowing with some super cute dog colouring. It was a perfect way to celebrate our love of dogs here at Amberley

🧠🏆 QUIZ BATTLE: RESIDENTS 🆚 STAFF! 🏆🧠

What an afternoon we’ve had at Amberley Care Home! 🤩 The tension was REAL as our wonderful residents went head-to-head with our fantastic staff in an epic quiz showdown!

The residents came out flying and won the first few rounds, leaving the staff looking absolutely determined to make a comeback! 😱💪 After some nail-biting questions, plenty of laughter and lots of cheering, the staff dug deep and just managed to win the competition! 🎉👏

A huge thank you to every resident and member of staff who took part. ❤️ It was filled with fun, teamwork, friendly rivalry and memories we’ll all be talking about for a long time!

🌟 A very special thank you to our wonderful Resident Ambassador, Joan, for reading out all of the quiz questions so brilliantly and staying completely impartial — she didn’t take sides once! 👏💜 We couldn’t have done it without you, Joan!

Today, we took a wonderful trip down memory lane as some of our lovely residents shared treasured photographs from their younger years. ❤️

From childhood snapshots and family celebrations to special milestones and happy memories, each photo told a unique story and sparked plenty of smiles, laughter, and conversation. 🥰📷

It's amazing how a photograph can capture a moment in time and keep those precious memories alive for generations. 💕✨

✨ A Beautiful Walk Around Sale 🌿💚

On Monday, three of our wonderful residents enjoyed a lovely stroll around Sale, taking in the fresh air, beautiful scenery, and sunshine. 🌸☀️

There’s something so special about getting out into the community, sharing conversations, making memories, and enjoying the simple pleasures that bring so much joy. Seeing the smiles on our residents’ faces made the walk even more meaningful.

At Amberley Care Home, it’s moments like these that remind us how important it is to stay active, connected, and make every day count. 💚
