Calling all teachers - this weeks episode and our final one this series is a conversation with Caroline and Devon about the development of their campaign to raise awareness of the issues teachers face when going through family building challenges and trying to do their job.

Caroline talks about the lack of support she had which led her to her PHD on the topic and beyond and Devon has a more positive experience in terms of workplace support yet shares the huge decision she had since made about further treatment.

The legend that is has made an incredible documentary about Endometriosis, that landed yesterday. It pacts a punch, as you’d expect from Emma who is doing amazing advocacy work.

She shares even more of her own painful experience of life with the condition, that she endures whilst asking the former Health Secretary Wes Streeting to give her an answer as to why more hasn’t been done, to traveling up and down the country to speak to other women sharing heartbreaking accounts of how much they have been suffering.

Emma says how she’s had to become a knowledge warrior and hearing her describe ‘how incredible it would be to not have to contend with this pain’ gives you such an insight into how all consuming the condition is and the he impact it has on every day life.

One lady had her appendix removed - it wasn’t appendicitis she was experiencing and another is awaiting a hysterectomy.

I thought it was brilliant and aim to share it with our members as I think it’s an excellent training tool. Be sure to watch and share.

At the end of the documentary is states how as of 1st June the government has said they are redesigning clinical pathways to speed up diagnosis and treatment for gynae issues which includes endometriosis. It also highlights that 30-50% of women with Endometriosis experience infertility and I wanted to remind you of one of our recent chats with discussing fertility treatment if you are managing the condition

You are in for a treat with today’s episode - with the weather as glorious as it is, let my wonderful guest be your guide of how nature can hold you, especially if you’re feeling joyless, fed up - like it’s just not fair that this is happening to you.

Whilst this episode comes with a trigger warning as Ellen Mary talks through her losses and how her experience didn’t lead to her bringing home a baby what you will hear from this honest account of loss and fertility treatment - is what can come next.

These are the stories that need to be heard as much as the ones with positive outcomes - when that outcome = a baby as Ellen Mary shares the abundance she feels from her work in nature and how it has helped her heal.

I hope you enjoy this 🎧🎙️

Ever wondered what a charity founder does day to day?

A bloody LOT that’s what .rolling5 talks through in this celebration episode to mark ONE YEAR of .action as you hear in this clip Katie explaining how she was in a Norway the other week with

I’m always bewildered and how much she fits in but that is why the charity is making such significant waves in the work it’s doing at Katie is constantly listening and learning and I hope you plug in your ears to this chat to update yourself on what’s happened with the charity during the last 12 months and what’s to come.

Last night it was briliant to celebrate with Katie and you can hear some of the birthday wishes in next weeks episode 🙏🥂

Listen in your fave podcast app and if you get the chance to send birthday wishes over on their grid - do!! 🎉🎉

A topic we’ve been giving more airtime too as it needs it - especially when you think about the physical side of what your body might be needing, after a pregnancy. This final chat with as part of my bonus mini series with talks about how tricky it can be to find a place to talk when you’re trying to grow your family and don’t know where you fit.

Another great insight and worth a listen - wherever you get your pods 🎙️🎧
