Recent events involving a funeral home have understandably shocked and saddened many people.
We know these reports may have caused families to question what happens behind the scenes when they entrust a loved one into the care of a funeral director.
Here at Arthur Kershaw Funeral Services, we believe trust is earned through openness, professionalism, and the highest standards of care.
We would like to extend an open invitation to anyone in our community to visit our premises. You do not need to make an appointment. We welcome you to come and see for yourself the facilities where your loved one would be cared for until the day of the funeral.
We are proud of the care we provide and believe that families should feel completely confident and reassured when choosing a funeral director.
We are proud members of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD) and adhere to their strict Code of Practice. Our premises and procedures are regularly inspected to ensure we continue to meet the high standards expected of NAFD members.
We also believe that transparency should be the standard across our profession. Every family should feel able to ask questions, view the facilities if they wish, and understand exactly how and where their loved one will be cared for.
Funeral directors should be open and willing to provide that reassurance.
Caring for someone entrusted to us is a privilege and a responsibility we never take lightly.
Every person is treated with the utmost dignity, respect, and compassion, exactly as we would wish for our own loved ones.
If you have any questions or would simply like to visit us for reassurance, our doors are always open. We are here to support our community with honesty, kindness, and the highest standards of professional care.
