Week 2, Day 1 of

What a fantastic day introducing our children to caring for the land! Our first adventure was a horse and cart ride, learning how the land was once managed by horsepower before heading into the woods to help clear Himalayan balsam. It was incredible to see the children get completely stuck in—they even went over their session time and still said they were having the best day!

From making mud cakes to baking delicious banana bread with our very own Curtis from Salford College, and getting creative using feathers to make beautiful duck artwork, there was something for everyone.

We finished the day in true style with a water fight, followed by a lively game of Duck, Duck, Goose to dry everyone off, keeping those nature connections growing every step of the way.
Another fun-filled day of exploring, learning, growing and belonging! 🌱💚

🌿☀️ Summer HAF is underway! ☀️🌿

A fantastic first day on the farm with both familiar and new faces. Alongside our therapy dog, Maz. we explored our new Nature Map app (available to download from our website) and recorded wildlife, plants and habitats across the farm.

🏆 Well done to Team Riley, who topped the leaderboard with 355 points! Even the adults got involved, taking second place!

What started as a 20-minute activity quickly turned into over an hour of exploring, discovering and connecting with nature. A brilliant start to the summer holidays! 🌱💚

Another day raising awareness for our community buy-out campaign!

Come and say hello at the Irlam & Cadishead Fair at Irlam & Cadishead High School. We'll be sharing our vision to secure Moss Lane Farm for the community forever and protect Salford's only organic farm for future generations.

A huge thank you to our corporate volunteers from Anaplan who joined us yesterday at our community market garden 🌱

They did a fantastic job helping to divide our pathways for children’s school visits, digging over areas, and planting seeds that will grow for months to come. It was also great to take them on a journey around our natural grounds, sharing our climate strategy and the exciting restoration projects we’re about to embark on.

What a wonderful team, we really appreciated your energy and support, and we hope to welcome you back again soon!
