It’s always inspiring to help patients regain their independence — especially when they bring such determination to their recovery.

One of my recent patients, an almost 81-year-old former runner and triathlete, came to see me wanting to stay active and be the best version of herself. Just 4 weeks after surgery, she’s already walking independently without crutches and aiming for a 5K in the autumn. Truly remarkable.
