The General Manager leads a friendly team of professionals that provide compassionate care for residents, assisting them to enjoy their lives to the full. The home was designed around a beautiful Georgian house and grounds, and has recently been renovated. Residents can enjoy an array of luxury facilities includ

ing newly refreshed and stylish lounges, a café and hair and beauty salon. The team of fully qualified nurses and experienced care colleagues oversee the health and wellbeing of each resident with care and support available 24 hours a day. Everything they do focuses on enabling the fullest possible life for residents.

Today was a sad day at Salisbury Manor as we said goodbye to our wonderful Klara. 💙

Over the past four years, Klara has touched the lives of so many residents, families and colleagues with her kindness, compassion and exceptional care. She has been a valued member of our Salisbury Manor family, and her dedication has made a lasting difference to everyone who has had the pleasure of knowing and working alongside her.

Whilst we are incredibly sad to see her go, we are so excited for the new adventure that awaits her in New Zealand. 🇳🇿

From all of us at Salisbury Manor, thank you, Klara, for everything you have given. We wish you every happiness and success in this exciting new chapter. You will be missed more than you know. ❤️

Her warmth, patience and genuine kindness shine through in every interaction, making such a positive difference to our residents and their families. We are so grateful to have her as part of our team.

💙 Ki, our wonderful receptionist, is the welcoming face of Salisbury Manor. She consistently goes above and beyond to support our residents, relatives, visitors and colleagues. Nothing is ever too much trouble, and she greets everyone with a smile that makes people feel instantly at home.

Thank you both for everything you do. Your dedication, kindness and commitment never go unnoticed. You truly make Salisbury Manor the special place it is. 💐✨

A Poignant Farewell to Salisbury Manor Veterans' Club 🇬🇧

Yesterday was my last Veterans' Club at Care UK Salisbury Manor, and what a poignant afternoon it was.

The club was established in September 2025 and, with the support of the local Armed Forces community, the Royal British Legion, veterans' organisations, volunteers, residents, and families, it has been a true team effort. Together, we have created something very special – a place where friendships have flourished, stories have been shared, memories have been revisited, and new memories have been made.

As I stood in the room before everyone arrived, enjoying a few moments of quiet, I found myself reflecting on the many faces and personalities I have been privileged to meet through the club. So many remarkable individuals with extraordinary stories, some of whom are sadly no longer with us. Their humour, wisdom, courage, and companionship remain very much part of what the Veterans' Club has become.

There was also a poignant sense of irony yesterday. One of Salisbury Manor's founder residents and a much-loved member at the heart of our Veterans' Club passed away peacefully just as the club was beginning. It felt, in many ways, like a complete circle, a reminder of why these connections, conversations, and shared experiences matter so much.

I was also incredibly touched to be presented with a stunning picture by the team from RAF Boscombe Down. It will take pride of place in my new office and will always remind me of the friendships, partnerships, and happy memories created through the Veterans' Club.

My heartfelt thanks go to everyone in the Salisbury community who has supported this initiative over the past year. You have helped create something that embodies the true spirit of the Veteran Friendly Framework – ensuring that veterans are recognised, valued, connected, and never forgotten.

As I move on to a new role, I leave knowing that the Salisbury Manor Veterans' Club is in safe hands and will continue to go from strength to strength.

Thank you for your friendship, your support, and most importantly, your stories.

May they continue to be shared for many years to come. ❤️

🧔✂️☀️ Fresh cuts for the warm weather! ☀️✂️🧔

A big thank you to Dementia Friendly Barbers for another great session at Care UK Salisbury Manor, leaving two of our gentlemen looking sharp with a classic short back and sides, perfectly suited to the warmer weather.

It’s always nice to see residents enjoying a bit of self-care and conversation while having a trim, helping everyone feel refreshed, confident and comfortable.

Simple routines like a haircut can make such a positive difference to wellbeing and daily mood - a small touch that goes a long way. 💛

🐑📸 Earl Grey is back... and growing fast! 📸🐑

Our favourite four-legged visitor, Earl Grey, Chloe's Mobile Farm, paid another visit to Care UK Salisbury Manor this week, and we couldn't help but notice how much he has grown!

As always, he was a hit with residents, happily posing for photos, enjoying plenty of fuss and bringing smiles wherever he went. In fact, is it just us, or does Earl Grey always seem to be smiling for the camera? 😊

Animal visits create such special moments within our home, encouraging conversation, connection and lots of happy memories. Judging by these photos, Earl Grey enjoyed his visit just as much as our residents did!

💛 We can't wait to see how much he's grown by his next visit.

⚽🏆 It's Coming Home at Salisbury Manor! 🏆⚽

This morning, residents, families, friends and members of the Armed Forces community came together to celebrate our shared love of football with our World Cup Warm-Up and Penalty Shoot-Out event.

From gentle football-themed exercises and reminiscing over football memories to enjoying refreshments and taking on the penalty shoot-out challenge, there was plenty of fun, laughter and community spirit on display.

For many of our residents, football represents a lifetime of treasured memories, from listening to matches on the radio to supporting their favourite teams through the decades. Today's event was a wonderful opportunity to celebrate those memories while creating new ones together.

As a proud Veterans Friendly Framework home, we were delighted to welcome Armed Forces representatives to join in the festivities and support residents throughout the morning.

A huge thank you to everyone who took part and helped make the event such a success. ⚽❤️
