📢 SUMMER BANK HOLIDAY – SURGERY CLOSURE
We will be closed for the Summer Bank Holiday on Monday 31 August.

We will reopen as usual on Tuesday 1 September.

If you need medical help while we are closed:

💻 NHS 111 online: For urgent medical advice and to find the most appropriate service, visit NHS 111 online.

📞 Call NHS 111: If you need urgent medical help that cannot wait until the surgery reopens, call 111.

🏥 Pharmacy: Your local pharmacy can provide advice and treatment for many common illnesses and minor conditions.

🚑 999 / A&E: Call 999 or attend A&E for life-threatening emergencies, such as severe chest pain, difficulty breathing, or loss of consciousness.

Please remember that A&E is for serious or life-threatening emergencies. For other urgent medical concerns, NHS 111 can direct you to the most appropriate service.

📣 MEDPOINT COLLECTIONS

Our Medpoint machine currently has a fault and is unable to dispense. If you have had a message to collect your medication from Medpoint please come to the surgery reception and collect before 6.30pm this evening or between 8.45am - 11.30am on Saturday morning.

We are expecting the engineers to fix the fault on Monday.

Starting tomorrow, amber and yellow heat-health alerts have been issued across most of the country. They are in place for the 29 and 30 July.

Some people – particularly the elderly, very young, or those with existing health conditions – face a real risk to their health and need to take steps to keep cool.

A yellow heat-health alert is in place across parts of England until 9am on Sunday. Hot weather will be great for some of us, but it can put some people’s health at risk - particularly those over 65, babies and young children under 5.
