Life doesn't always need fixing.Sometimes it needs understanding, compassion and a safe place to begin again.
Counselling and mentoring for people navigating life's transitions, parenthood, relationship changes, grief, identity shifts, burnout, creative reinvention, and the quieter question of "what now?"

There are seasons of life when you don’t fully realise what you’re learning.

Looking back, I feel incredibly grateful for the years I spent working alongside Kalindi Jordan. While I supported the business behind the scenes, I was also quietly witnessing and learning from her profound work with women, embodiment, sexuality and intimate relationships.

What I couldn’t have known then was how naturally those years would become part of the therapist I am today.

More and more, women are arriving in my counselling room wanting to talk not only about anxiety, grief or relationships, but about their bodies. About desire after motherhood. About changing identities. About wondering whether the sensual, vibrant woman they once knew is still there beneath the exhaustion and responsibilities of everyday life.

For a long time I’ve been interested in the space between the mother and the sexual woman. The place where both identities can coexist. A woman whose body has carried life, adapted, changed and given so much, yet is still deserving of pleasure, intimacy, vitality and connection. I call that space the Sensual Mama!

My years as a birth doula taught me about the transition into motherhood. My years alongside Kalindi deepened my understanding that healing isn’t only psychological. It is also embodied, relational and deeply human.

It feels meaningful that these conversations are now finding me, and that all of these seemingly separate chapters of my life have woven together into the work I offer today.

Sometimes we spend years gathering wisdom without knowing where it will belong.

Then one day, the right people arrive, and everything you’ve lived begins to make sense. 🤍

And a big shout out to Kalindi Jordan - if you’d like more info on her work and Sensual Mastery 2027 see www.kalindijordan.com

Supporting lone parents to access subsidised counselling. 💛

If you’re able to donate towards this cause, please click the link in my bio to visit the Radiant Mama fundraiser page.

It’s an honour to be one of the counsellors supporting Radiant Mama (CIC). I’ve experienced life both within a family unit and, for many years, as a lone parent. I know first-hand how exhausting, relentless and, at times, isolating it can be.

Having a therapeutic space where someone can simply talk, be witnessed, and process life’s challenges outside of the daily demands of parenting can make an enormous difference. So many lone parents are carrying the responsibilities of provider, nurturer, organiser and emotional anchor all at once. Counselling can offer a place to put some of that weight down for a while.

Every parent deserves support, yet many simply can’t afford it.

If you’d like to help make counselling more accessible for lone parents, we’d be so grateful if you could donate via the link in my bio. Every contribution, however big or small, helps make these sessions possible.

As much as we want to remain safe and in control, there are times when s**t happens and Life has a way of pulling the rug from beneath us.

When that happens, one of the most useful questions we can ask isn’t, “Why is this happening to me?” but, “Who do I want to become through this?”

That question changes everything.

It’s the kind of question I’m most interested in exploring alongside my clients. Not rushing for answers, not forcing positivity, but creating space to discover what wants to emerge naturally from even the hardest seasons.

Last week one of my oldest friends came to visit my new home.
She arrived with this little gift.
It made me smile because it wasn’t just a leopard with the words Stay Wild, Be Free.
It was her saying, “I see you.”

Not just the counsellor. Not just the mum.Not just the woman who keeps life running.

But the curious, instinctive, creative, slightly wild part of me that has always been there too.

I realised how precious it is to have people in our lives who remember who we are beyond the roles we also inhabit.

So I’ve hung it in my bedroom as a little daily reminder.

To nourish every part of myself. Not only the productive part. Not only the responsible part. Not only the socially acceptable part.

Because the goal isn’t to become someone different. It’s to make sure none of the parts that make us feel most alive get left behind.

As a counsellor, I often find that healing isn’t about becoming more. It’s about welcoming home the parts of ourselves we’ve learned to hide.

Here’s to friends, partners, lovers and family who make room for our whole selves.
May we all have more people who don’t just love the polished version of us…
…but also celebrate the wild❤️🔥🌹

What part of yourself do you hope the people closest to you never ask you to shrink?

As one of the counsellors at Radiant Mama, I have the privilege of supporting mothers through some of the most intense seasons of their lives.

I also know, from my own experience as a solo mother, that parenting without a partner or family beside you every day can bring unique emotional, practical and financial challenges. It takes extraordinary strength, yet no one should have to carry it all alone.

This fundraiser is helping make a special Community Day possible for lone mothers, offering connection, support, nourishment and the reminder that they are not alone. As someone who has worked with many solo mums, I know just how powerful it can be to feel seen, understood and held by a community.

If you’re able to donate, however small the amount, it would mean so much. And if donating isn’t possible, sharing the fundraiser is another wonderful way to help.

Thank you for helping us wrap a little more care around mothers who so often spend their days caring for everyone else. 💛

Matrescence is not just about learning how to care for a child. It is about learning how to care for the new version of yourself that is emerging alongside that child.

That process can take years, not weeks, and it deserves the same compassion and understanding that we naturally extend to adolescence.

Sometimes what helps most is having a space where every part of your experience is welcome.

I’m here for these conversations and explorations in 1-1 sessions for mothers.
