šŸ‚Autumn is the perfect time to start your laser hair removal journey…

As we head into the cooler months and spend a little less time in the sun, now is a great time to begin your treatments, giving you plenty of time to work through your treatment plan ahead of next spring and summer.

Why choose laser hair removal?

āœ”ļø Helps achieve long-term reduction in hair growth
āœ”ļø Less time spent shaving and waxing
āœ”ļø A convenient option if you’re fed up with the constant cycle of temporary hair removal

At Redbrook Clinic, we do things a little differently…

We charge by treatment, not per session. Whether your treatment plan requires two sessions or ten, you’ll pay the same agreed price for the full treatment.

So while summer might feel like it’s only just finished, now is actually the perfect time to start thinking ahead. šŸ‚

ENDOPULSEā„¢ has been generating lots of interest since we introduced it at Redbrook Clinic, so I thought I’d take a few minutes to explain exactly what it is, how it works and who it’s most suitable for.

In this reel, I talk through the treatment, the areas it can be used on and what you can expect if you’re considering ENDOPULSEā„¢.

Every patient is different, which is why every treatment starts with a detailed consultation to understand your goals and create a personalised treatment plan.

If you’ve got any questions after watching, feel free to pop them in the comments or send us a message. I’m always happy to help.

What is a Dilated Pore?

A dilated pore also known as dilated pore of winer, is a common, benign skin lesion. It’s essentially a large, open pore filled with keratin (a build-up of skin cells).

It can look like a blackhead or a small bump and is often found on the face, neck or upper torso. While harmless, many people choose to have them removed for cosmetic reasons.

Treatment is simple and effective:

🌱A small local anaesthetic is used
🌱A tiny incision is made
🌱The pore contents are gently extracted

Although it’s a quick and straightforward procedure, dilated pores are no longer removed by the NHS.

Private hospital treatment can cost £125 for the consultation and can be upto £500 for removal.

We offer the same treatment from just Ā£80–£100.

Would you know this was skin cancer?

It’s easy to assume that skin cancer will always look dark, irregular or immediately concerning. The reality is that some skin cancers can look surprisingly subtle.

This lesion was spotted here by Redbrook Clinic and, following appropriate assessment, was diagnosed as skin cancer. It is now under treatment.

Louise sees skin every single day and has extensive experience in recognising when a mole or lesion may need further investigation.

If you have a mole, mark or lesion that has changed, looks different, isn’t healing, or simply doesn’t feel right, please don’t ignore it. Early assessment matters.

Louise is always happy to take a look at anything you’re concerned about and, where appropriate, advise you to seek further medical assessment.

Sometimes the things worth checking really don’t look particularly worrying at all.

We often talk about adding filler, but what about knowing when it’s time to dissolve it?

I’ve had lip filler over a number of years, and sometimes, rather than continuing to add more product, I feel the best approach is to dissolve what’s there and start again.

Over time, filler can build up, the shape can change, or you may simply reach a point where a fresh start will give you a better foundation for any future treatment.

So this time, I’m the patient! In this video, I’m dissolving my own lip filler using hyaluronidase, an enzyme used to break down hyaluronic acid filler.

My plan is to allow my lips time to settle before deciding what, if anything, I’d like to do next.

For me, good aesthetics isn’t about continually adding more.

Did you know that skin pigmentation can occur for various reasons?

ā˜€ļø Sun exposure
šŸ’Š Hormonal changes
šŸ‘µšŸ»Aging
šŸ’„ Inflammation from acne

These cause an overproduction of melanin, the pigment responsible for your skin’s colour, leading to dark spots, melasma, freckles, and other discolorations.

Our IPL laser treatment is designed to target these pigment issues at their source. The IPL device emits specific wavelengths of light that are absorbed by the excess melanin in your skin. This process breaks down the pigmented cells, which your body then naturally clears away, revealing a more even and radiant complexion.

Plus, IPL also stimulates collagen production, enhancing your skin’s overall texture and glow. šŸ’šŸ»ā€ā™€ļø
