🚭 Introducing Stop for Good – a new stop smoking campaign for Cheshire and Merseyside 🚭

We’re delighted to support Stop for Good, a new campaign from NHS Cheshire and Merseyside and the Champs Public Health Collaborative, helping people take positive steps towards a smoke-free future.

Launched on 26 May, the campaign is part of the wider Smoking Ends Here initiative and aims to:

✅ Raise awareness of the benefits of quitting smoking
✅ Encourage people to make a quit attempt
✅ Connect individuals with free, evidence-based stop smoking support in their local area

The campaign focuses on long-term success, recognising that quitting smoking is a journey and that ongoing support can make all the difference.

Together, we can help more people become smoke-free for good.

If you've thought about volunteering as a befriender, you can find out more at the drop-in sessions in town every Monday!

📅 Mondays (excluding Bank Holidays and pre-booked events)
⏰ 11am - 2pm

Befriending can take many forms to help alleviate loneliness and isolation:
📞 Phone or visit a beneficiary within their own home
🚗 Take a beneficiary on trips or accompany them to local community activities
🛒 Take a beneficiary shopping
💻 Help beneficiaries to access online classes and activities
