💙 Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month 💙

At times, life can feel overwhelming, and many men face challenges in silence. Grief, loss, stress, and everyday pressures can have a significant impact on mental wellbeing, yet too often men feel they must carry these burdens alone.

This Men’s Mental Health Awareness Month, we encourage open conversations, checking in with loved ones, and reminding those around us that asking for help is a sign of strength, not weakness.

A simple message, phone call, or conversation could make all the difference to someone who is struggling.

If you’re finding things difficult, please know that support is available, and you don’t have to face it alone.

Let’s continue to break down the stigma surrounding men’s mental health and create a culture where it’s okay to talk, listen, and seek support.

☀️🐾 Keeping Dogs Safe in the Heat 🐾☀️

As temperatures rise, it’s important to remember that hot weather can be dangerous for our dogs.

Here are a few simple ways to keep your dog safe during warmer days:

💧 Always provide plenty of fresh water
🌳 Walk during the cooler morning or evening hours
🐾 Avoid hot pavements — if it’s too hot for your hand, it’s too hot for their paws
🚗 Never leave dogs in parked cars, even for a few minutes
😎 Make sure they have access to shade and cool resting areas

Signs of overheating can include excessive panting, drooling, lethargy, and difficulty breathing. If you’re concerned, contact your vet immediately.

Stay safe, stay cool, and give your furry friends a little extra care this summer 🐶💛
