We're sharing an urgent appeal from NHS Blood Donation for blood donors across Cheshire and Merseyside. ❤️

The NHS currently faces a serious shortfall in blood stocks due to hot weather, holidays and high demand. In particular, we need help from those with O negative, B negative blood types, and Black heritage donors.

Donations often drop over busy holiday periods, so as people set off on summer breaks we're asking people to please, if you can, 'give before you go'. ❤️

Within 10 minutes Iain told me I actually had a problem with my hip and I should ask for an X-ray to further investigate. As he thought I am now about to have a total hip replacement after being in considerable pain for years. I cannot thank him enough, he is exceptional at his job and nothing short of a life saver to me.
