What better way to beat the heat than with ice cream delivered by a horse and cart? 🍦🐴☀️

A huge thank you to our amazing House Lead, Caroline, for organising this fantastic experience at The Russets and Sherwood. It was a real highlight of the week and the perfect treat during the warm weather. Moments like these make such a difference and create wonderful memories for everyone involved.

Residents were delighted by Sally Holliday's entertaining concert, filled with great music, laughter, and plenty of opportunities to sing along. 🎵❤️

💕 From colleagues to newlyweds 💕

Rob and Julie first met on a course at Cote Lane retirement village back in October 2013. At the time, Julie was weekend Senior Housekeeper and Rob was Senior Porter at Sandford Station retirement village. They got together officially on 13 November 2013, and the rest is history.

Since then, they’ve been both been promoted, Julie to Resident Support Team Leader and Rob to Business Deputy Manager, and now they work together keeping things running smoothly at the Russets and Sherwood Care Home. They love the work they do supporting our residents and colleagues, and it shows.

In May 2024, Rob proposed in Egypt, and on 28 May this year, they got married at a taverna in the hills above Paphos in Cyprus, surrounded by close family. ❤️

All of us at St Monica Trust would like to give a huge congratulations to the happy couple! 🎉
