🌟 We’re recruiting Children’s Residential Support Workers 🌟

Hourly rates up to £16.50

Milford Del Support Services has opened two new children’s homes on the Isle of Wight, and we’re looking for compassionate, resilient and dedicated people to join our new teams.

This is an exciting opportunity to be involved from the very beginning and help us create safe, stable and nurturing homes where children and young people feel supported, valued and able to thrive.

Applicants must have at least one year’s experience supporting children or young people, either professionally or through relevant personal experience.

We offer:

• Full-time, permanent employment
• Hourly rates up to £16.50
• Comprehensive induction and ongoing training
• A fully funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare

We are looking for an organised, approachable and proactive HR, Recruitment and Administration Assistant to join our friendly Head Office team in Sandown.

This is a varied role supporting recruitment, HR processes and the smooth day-to-day running of our office.

💜 £27,000 per annum
💜 Full-time – 40 hours per week
💜 28 days’ holiday, including bank holidays
💜 An extra day off for your birthday
💜 Training and development opportunities

Experience in HR, recruitment or administration is preferred. Experience in health and social care would be beneficial but is not essential.

Do you enjoy supporting people and keeping things organised?

If you have a passion for care, strong administrative skills and would like to develop your career at a pace that feels right for you, our Field Care Supervisor position could be a great opportunity.

💼 The role

Pay: £14.00 per hour

On call: Every third weekend from Friday to Sunday, working alongside another colleague and covering one service area, plus one evening during the week

Mileage: Paid in line with regulation

Equipment: Laptop and phone provided

Training: Full induction and ongoing training included

Welcome to the team, Joe! 💜

We are delighted to welcome Joe Marples to Milford Del Support Services as our new Head of Services.

Joe began his career in care as a Support Worker in 2021 and quickly progressed through several leadership roles before becoming a Home Manager. His ambition, compassion and commitment to delivering outstanding care also earned him a place in The Care Show 30 Under 30 class of 2024, where he was recognised as its youngest member.

Joe is a brilliant example of the career opportunities available within social care, and we are excited to see the experience, enthusiasm and leadership he will bring to Milford Del.

There is just one small area for development… Joe has never eaten pizza! 🍕😱 We are not sure how this has happened, but we are confident the team will support him through this challenging next step!
