Yasp is now permanently closed, as of 28/02/25

We are deeply grateful to our wonderful local and online communities for their support over the past 7 1/2 years.

We owe a big thank you to the Scalloway Youth and Community Centre volunteers, and especially to Alan Inkster, and Sonia Inkster, whose constant generosity and support made our premises a truly happy place.

We are indebted to the Shetland MS Society committee members and fundraisers for all their hard work that made possible our services for people with MS. Thanks also to Orkney MSS for jointly funded projects.

Parkinson’s Shetland was born in 2018. Many thanks indeed to their small but hard working committee that made possible Parkinson’s exercise groups.

Thank you also to Shetland Stroke Supporters Group, who funded exercise for people with stroke.

We were fortunate to have contracts with several national organisations, but in particular we would like to thank the Seafarers Hospital Society for funding much needed treatments for seafarers.

And finally, we would like to say a huge thank you to each and every one of our clients. We will miss you!
