Bernard & Sons Funeral Directors have been established in Scarborough since 1925 and are proud to be one of the longest serving funeral directors in the community. The team are led by business leader, Rachael Green alongside funeral directors, Martin Chandler, Emma Faunt, Melvin Blackford, Sophie Pawson and Ann Kitto who together have many years of experience in looking after families at the most

difficult times of their lives. Emma Kneeshaw, Sue Wilding, Lesley Birch, Sandra Robinson, Karen Eyre and Grace Midgley support the Funeral Directors in making sure all elements of the funeral arrangement are carried out with the utmost respect, care and dignity. Our support service team are specialists in making sure your loved one is cared for with the utmost dignity and respect. Our embalmer, Tracey Cross, is a Member of the British Institute of Embalmers and is ably assisted by Richard Parsons, Sarah Sadler and John Haag, as well as casual operatives who make up our trusted team. Bernard & Sons pride themselves on being a tradition of trust built over decades and always taking the greatest care. With branches on Prospect Road and Scalby Road, we are proud to have been part of Dignity Funerals since 2013 and continue to serve families in and around Scarborough with dedication.

We are at MHA Priceholme, Scarborough for their Summer Fair. It's on until 4pm. We've got a little prize draw and a guess how many sweets in the jar, and Helen Morris Florist is here with some beautiful artificial floral arrangements for sale. There's also a raffle and cake stall put on by the wonderful team here, so please do drop in an support this lovely home.

We are so privileged to serve the people of our beautiful town of Scarborough in two locations...our Prospect Road site, of course, proudly open since 1925, and of course, we have our Scalby Road branch, just next to the Newby and Scalby Library, which has its own car park for our clients.

Was wonderful to be back out on the road with this beauty again today, and we brought musical cheer to residents and staff alike at Rambla Nursing Home. The weather was on our side and we all had a lovely time. We're back out making music tomorrow with Combe Hay Residential Care Home and can't wait!

We're happy to announce that our Wurlitzter Organ will be returning to Scarborough in the coming months.

As you may know, we enjoy bringing the organ to local residential homes, day centres and fundraising events (and we're open to new places) and spreading a bit of musical joy.

We have limited dates and times available;
