Annual Open Gardens Party in the village🩷

Nothing blossoms like friendship & flowers 🌷

How lucky we are to reside in a truly beautiful village full of community spirit.
Yesterday the ladies enjoyed a walk around our village and were invited in to admire the most beautiful blooming gardens. The bright flowers were stretching up to the sun, the tea was flowing and we even tried our luck on the tombola. A beautful day was had by all 🩷

This Sunday is ‘Games Day’ at The Holt🤍

Boccia is an all inclusive game for all abilities. Seated, rolling coloured balls in a bowls like format, trying to aim and connect with previously bowled balls. Lots of fun, concentration faces and competitive energy. It is great to try new games that we can all enjoy together 🤍

🍪It’s International Biscuit Day- so get the kettle on. 🍪All residents at The Holt enjoy a nice brew and what makes that even better? A crunchy, fruity, oaty, crumbly, chocolate biscuit of course. We have all enjoyed a refreshing pot of tea, whilst watching a movie and dunking biscuits. Happy International Biscuit Day 🍪

✨🩵Dementia Action Week🩵✨- Again the smells from the kitchen were delicious as our lovely residents were supported with baking and decorating some floral inspired shortbread biscuits. We nearly couldn’t wait- but did, and these were enjoyed later in the afternoon with a cup of tea while watching a movie. A really wholesome day of creation and relaxation 🩵

What a beautiful day! ☀️Taking in all that nature has to offer blue skies, glorious sunshine and the song of the birds. We are feeling really lucky today as we take it all in whilst relaxing, and prune and potter in the garden. Our herbs are flourishing and the ladies should be proud of their efforts.☀️

Blessed with the heat and light of this May morning, we brushed off our trowels and indulged in a spot of gardening.🌿 Nature and nurture go hand in hand as we enjoyed a relaxing calm sensory experience. 🌿

We are all looking forward to our annual summer garden party and part of that is preparing it to look its best. Team work really brings us together- as does a nice cup of tea afterwards☀️🌿☕️
