New research has revealed the cost of the UK’s fast food habit – with 60% of people spending up to £50 a week on takeaways and convenience food.

Our survey of 2,000 UK adults showed that 47% of people believe they’d save a significant amount of money by cutting back – yet one in five people don’t feel confident in cooking from scratch 💔. Those that do cook at home report huge benefits though – with 46% saving money and 40% feeling healthier 🤗.

When it comes to Slimming World members, 88% reported spending up to £100 a week on takeaways before they joined. Since joining, the story is totally different with 39% of respondents saying they’ve cut out takeaways completely… by opting for healthy fakeaways instead, they’re saving a potential £5,000 a year 🤯.

FOUND - ESPLANADE - SCARBOROUGH - This un-neutered, not microchipped little boy has been seen by a few people on the Esplanade and even down near the Spa, very friendly and following everyone, very worried people witnessed him crossing over busy roads in front of cars, been chased by dogs , thankfully on leads. He was picked up by a concerned member of the public. He has been on Facebook a couple of times with no owners coming forward, but lots of people trying to help him and looking out for him, and taking him in for a while.
We will keep him on Facebook for 7 days and then neuter and vaccinate him and find him a safe home, as he will get himself into trouble just wandering around, especially in the busy season to come
