We’re participating in this years Care Provider Olympics 🏅- with lots of fun filled activities planned over the next few weeks.

Residents and staff have been busy crafting signs and awards, as well as participating in sporty games and recording everyone’s scores.

A HUGE thank you to everyone who joined us for this year’s Summer Fair at the Nursing Home! ☀️🎉

Thanks to your incredible support, we raised an amazing £745 for our Residents’ Activity Fund, helping us continue to provide enjoyable and meaningful activities for those who live here.

We would also like to extend a special thank you to Shelagh and Richard for their generous contribution of £110.

Our Summer Fair is always a highlight of the year, bringing together residents, families, friends, and members of our local community for a day filled with fun, laughter, and wonderful memories. We are so grateful to everyone who attended, donated, volunteered, and helped make the event such a success.

Thank you for your continued support – we can’t wait to see you again next year! 💙

Join us this Saturday, 11th July, from 12:30pm to 4:00pm at Saint Cecilia's Nursing Home for an afternoon of summer fun, laughter, and community spirit!

There'll be something for everyone, including:

Come along and meet some of our wonderful staff and residents, enjoy the friendly atmosphere, and be entertained by live music from the amazing Nathan Badger! 🎶

Last week, we were delighted to welcome Laila and Darcy from Scarborough 6th Form College for their work placement at the Nursing Home. 💙

They truly threw themselves into every opportunity to learn about life in our home, gaining hands-on experience across a variety of departments. From helping our housekeeping team and supporting reception with admin duties, to taking charge of the famous tea trolley (making sure our residents were never without a cuppa and a tasty treat! ☕🍪), they embraced every task with enthusiasm, kindness and a fantastic attitude.

A huge thank you to Laila and Darcy for all of your hard work this week - we wish you both every success in the future and hope you’ll be back to see us again soon! 🌟
