It took a mere moment to set up her phobia 💉

A terrifying moment ☠️Blood, Veins, Needles 😱

There was no rationalising it
heart pounding, sweating, crying...

IT WAS INSTANT
ESCAPE WAS THE ONLY ANSWER
THERE WAS NO GOING BACK

You know that moment when you have a problem but you can push it into the background, sweep it under the rug and pretend that you don't really need to address it.

For years avoidance was the name of the game until that just didn't work any more.

Blood tests were needed
Answers were needed
Avoidance was NOT an option.

She had gone as far as she could on her own and it was reaching out for hypnotherapy that got the results she needed

And that's why I believe in the power of hypnotherapy.

It is life changing.

It enables people to make powerful changes in areas of their life that are stifling their ability to live without fear.

It allows people to be the best version of themselves and, as in this case, in a very short space of time.

The best way to reduce stress and initiate relaxation is to use the breath.
Breathe in for a count of 4, breath out for a count of 8.
Notice levels of stress decreasing 🌬️

“I just can’t do this any more”

The exhaustion and suffering was etched in her face and posture.

This lady was not coping.

Her mind overwhelmed, her body twisted in pain.

She couldn’t verbalise what she wanted, only that she didn’t want THIS.

Cannot live like this.

Slowly and gently I guided her to believe in herself.

Her capacity to heal.

Her ability to bring her mind from turmoil to calm.

And in that moment, that space, the flame of hope was ignited.

The struggle was proportioned.

Progress was witnessed.

She now has direction, a path to follow and a taste of bringing her body and mind back under her control.

Her determination and strength was there all along but she just couldn’t find it amongst the fear and overwhelm.
