Celebrating Father Figures at Castle Grange ❤️

In anticipation of Father's Day this Sunday, we have been celebrating the wonderful fathers, grandfathers, and father figures who have helped shape our lives with their love, guidance, strength, and wisdom.
Today, our residents expressed their appreciation through beautiful artwork, reflecting treasured memories and heartfelt gratitude for the special men who have made a lasting difference in their lives.

As we look forward to Father's Day, we honour and celebrate all the father figures who have left their mark on our hearts. 💙

What a wonderful time we've had at our Knitting & Natter Club! 💕 It's been amazing to see so much joy, laughter, and friendship shared through both old favourites and new hobbies. 😊

From experienced knitters creating beautiful pieces 🧵 to those giving it a try for the very first time 🌟, everyone has enjoyed coming together for a lovely chat, a cuppa ☕, and plenty of creativity.

There's nothing better than seeing smiles grow as new skills are learned, memories are shared, and friendships are strengthened. ❤️

🔵🏆 Boccia Fun at Castle Grange! 🏆🔵

Our residents at Castle Grange recently enjoyed a fantastic game of Boccia! 😊🎯

Boccia is a fun and inclusive ball sport where players aim to throw or roll their balls as close as possible to a target ball. It is suitable for people of all abilities and is a great way to encourage participation, teamwork, and friendly competition. 🤝✨

Not only is Boccia lots of fun, but it also promotes gentle exercise, helps improve coordination and concentration, and can boost confidence and self-esteem. 💪😊🌟

There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a healthy dose of friendly competition throughout the game! 🥳👏 Well done to everyone who took part and made it such an enjoyable activity. 💙

We are delighted to share that we raised £450 for our Activities Fund! 💷✨ Every penny will go towards supporting activities for those we care for.

A special thank you to everyone who donated prizes for our Tombola 🎁 and to our amazing craft stall holders 🧶🛍️. Your generosity, hard work, and support helped make the day such a success.

🧁🎂 Our residents had a marvellous time icing buns and decorating cakes to their own preferences! 🎨✨

One resident even shared that it was the first time he had done this since the 1980s 🥰💭. It was amazing to see all the residents at Castle Grange getting so involved and enjoying the activity together. 😊👏

The ladies loved putting together their own unique floral displays, each one beautifully crafted with attention to detail, creativity, and flair.
