Feedback like this means so much, particularly when it comes from a practitioner who already has years of experience working with TMJ Dysfunction.

The course is designed to build on the knowledge and skills you already have, while giving you new ways to assess, understand and support the people you treat.

And seeing the community of practitioners growing alongside it makes it even more rewarding.

With TMJ Dysfunction, there can be many contributing factors, from the way we breathe and move to tension elsewhere in the body, posture, stress and everyday habits.

That's why my approach has always been to look beyond the painful joint and understand what else may be contributing to the symptoms you're experiencing.

Treating the whole person gives us a much fuller picture of what may be going on.

There are only so many people living with TMJ Dysfunction that I can treat myself.

That's a huge part of why I created the TMJ Massage Therapies® Level 1 Online CPD Course. Teaching other practitioners the hands-on skills, clinical knowledge and confidence to support their own clients means that knowledge can reach so many more people.

My goal has always been to help as many people as possible live without the impact of TMJ Dysfunction. Whether that's through treating people myself in clinic, the Jaw Ball Method®, or giving other practitioners the knowledge to support people within their own communities.

Our next course begins in November 2026, and Registration Is Now Live. Head over to the website to view the curriculum & to sign up.

More pressure doesn't always mean more release.

The Jaw Ball Method® is about working with the body, using gentle, considered techniques to help reduce tension rather than trying to force it away.

Sometimes, less really is more.

TMJ Dysfunction rarely has one simple solution, which is why having different approaches available can be so valuable in clinical practice.

For Joanna, the TMJ Massage Therapies® Level 1 Online CPD Course offered a hands-on, conservative approach that could sit alongside the treatments she was already providing as a dentist.

And importantly, it changed the way she approached her clients clinically.

Our next course begins in November 2026. Sign up now to secure your place and access our flexible three-month payment plan, available until the end of August.

Summer is a good reminder of how much better we can feel simply by spending more time outside (especially when the weather is this good)!

For me, being by the sea is a big part of that. Whether I'm swimming, walking along the coast or just getting some fresh air, it's one of the ways I switch off and make some space away from work and everyday life.

We are all living busy lives and guilty of not prioritising some “me moments” but it doesn't always need to be complicated.

Sometimes getting outside, moving your body and doing something you genuinely enjoy is enough, even if it is just for 10 minutes.

I hope you're finding a little time for whatever that looks like for you this summer.

When was the last time you really thought about your feet?

We expect a lot from them, yet they're often overlooked when we're thinking about how we look after our bodies.

Something as simple as spending a little more time barefoot, where it's comfortable and safe to do so, can give your feet more opportunity to move naturally and respond to the ground beneath you.

And as I've shared in this post, what happens at your feet doesn't necessarily stay at your feet.

I'm exploring this connection in more detail in this month's newsletter, along with some simple ways you can start looking after your feet and supporting your body from the ground up.

You can sign up to receive it via the link in my bio.

Our bodies are constantly responding to the way we live.

Busy periods don't affect everyone in the same way. Some people notice tension in their neck and shoulders, others experience headaches, disturbed sleep or increased jaw tension.

While there isn't a single solution, making time to slow down is one simple way to support your body and nervous system.

As you enjoy the summer, don't forget to make a little time for yourself too.

Curiosity has always been at the heart of what I do.

It’s what led me to question why so many people with TMJ Dysfunction were still searching for answers and it continues to shape the way I teach today.

Every practitioner in the TMJ Massage Therapies® Directory has chosen to deepen their understanding of the jaw, the wider body and the connections between them. They share a commitment to continued learning and to providing thoughtful, evidence-informed care for the people they treat.

If you're looking for a trained TMJ Massage Therapies® practitioner in your area, the directory is a great place to start.
