We’re looking for more local organisations to join our Safe Place Pledge and help us support our amazing carers who are out and about in our community every day.

Sometimes, carers just need a little moment to pause, take a breath, grab a drink, use the facilities or simply have somewhere safe and welcoming to stop for a few minutes between visits. ☕️💧🚻

We’re particularly looking to grow our network in Broughton, Bottesford and Kirton Lindsey. 🧡

It is with regret that we have made the difficult decision to cancel tomorrow’s Community Brew at Broughton.

With extreme heat forecast, the welfare, safety and wellbeing of everyone attending must always come first. 🧡

We are truly sorry for the short notice and for any disappointment or inconvenience this may cause. We know how much our Community Brews mean to everyone, and we’re really looking forward to seeing you all again very soon.

📅 Our next Broughton Community Brew will be Thursday 10th September, when we’ll be back with plenty of warmth, friendship, refreshments and community connection. ☕️🧡

☀️ A beautiful sunny Sunday calls for a little round-up of last week at ! 🧡

What a week it was! -

🎪 We kicked things off at the Ongo Carnival, where we had such a brilliant time meeting people, chatting about Goodwin Healthcare and welcoming lots of new followers to our page. Thank you to everyone who stopped by to say hello — it was lovely to see you!

☕ Thursday saw us at our Community Brew in Messingham, and what a morning it was! We officially kicked off our Care Provider Olympics 🏆 and the competition was fierce! There was plenty of laughter, team spirit and a little bit of healthy rivalry! 😂

It was one of those mornings that absolutely flew by (we didn’t even have time for a game of Bingo!)— a sure sign of a great Community Brew! 🧡

🏆 And then we finished the week with one of our favourite things… celebrating our amazing team!

First up, our Excellence Behind the Scenes Award went to Anna, our Registered Manager. 🌟

This award was so well deserved. Anna has been instrumental in supporting the team through lots of changes and adaptations, continually finding ways to improve, evolve and ensure our services continue to meet the needs of the people we support.

But it’s not just what Anna does professionally that makes her so special. She has a wonderful ability to know when someone isn’t quite feeling themselves and is always there with a supportive, listening ear. Her kindness, understanding and genuine care for the team make such a difference.

Her commitment, flexibility and dedication behind the scenes are truly appreciated. Congratulations, Anna! 👏🧡

🌟 And our Carer of the Month award went to Amy!

Amy was recognised for her exceptional kindness, compassion and dedication.

Amy regularly attends our Community Brews alongside the person she supports and consistently goes above and beyond to make sure they feel safe, included and comfortable within the community.

From their very first Community Brew, Amy has provided reassurance, encouragement and calm support, helping them build confidence at their own pace. What really stands out is the way she balances reassurance with promoting independence, always being there when needed while encouraging the person she supports to engage and enjoy new experiences.

Amy truly embodies compassionate, person-centred care and the values of Goodwin Healthcare. Congratulations Amy 🧡
