The decking was definitely joining in with my yoga practice!
It's not unusual to feel a little stiff when we first get up. Our bodies need a little time, movement and attention to wake up and find their ease.
And that's something we'll be exploring in class this week as we connect with the Late Summer season through the lens of Traditional Chinese Medicine.
Late Summer is a unique 5th season, associated with the Earth element - a time of grounding, nourishment, stability and finding a sense of support.
We'll be exploring movement around the Stomach and Spleen meridian channels, creating space and mobility in the body, while also taking a little time to slow down, settle and reconnect.
Perhaps we all need a little more of that sometimes.
So, if your body is feeling a bit creaky, or you're simply looking for some grounding, stability and support, come and join me on the mat this week.
