As I finish another week at the clinic, I'm feeling incredibly grateful for the variety of people I have the privilege to work with.
This week has included some wonderful massage sessions using myofascial release techniques and gentle passive stretching to help improve shoulder mobility, as well as a beautifully relaxing Hot Stone Fusion Massage that eased long-held tension between the shoulder blades – much appreciated by the client!
I've also enjoyed some lovely kinesiology sessions, helping clients feel more grounded, centred and in tune with themselves.
One highlight was catching up with a gentleman I've worked with for some time. Seeing someone who is no longer controlled by anxiety and is now enjoying life so much more is a wonderful reminder that meaningful change often happens one step at a time.
I also welcomed a new client in her late 70s whose goal is simply to stay healthy, active and well. I love that so many people are recognising that looking after our health isn't just about treating illness – it's about supporting wellbeing, mobility and resilience at every stage of life.
Alongside my clinic work, I've also been marking homework for one of my Kinesiology Diploma students. I genuinely enjoy supporting the next generation of kinesiologists and watching their confidence and skills develop as they progress on their own journey.
Tomorrow is also a marking homework time as well for one my new Foundation students. She will be receiving her certificate in the not too distant future. I'm also getting ready to teach the next Foundation starting in August.
Thank you to everyone who has trusted me with their health this week. Wishing you all a restful and fun-filled weekend when it comes 🌿
