💛 CREATE & THRIVE – NO SESSION THIS WEEK 💛
We wanted to let everyone know that Create & Thrive will not be running this week.
This week is a particularly important and difficult one, as three members of our Create & Thrive team will be attending our Dad’s funeral. We’ve therefore made the decision to take a break from this week’s session.
At Create & Thrive, we often talk about looking after our wellbeing, making space for what we are experiencing and recognising when we need to pause. This week, we’re choosing to model that too. 💛
Create & Thrive will be back on Thursday 10th September 2026, and we look forward to seeing you then for another afternoon of creativity, connection and wellbeing.
💙 THE JOHN BOOTH HARDSHIP FUND
In honour of our Dad, John Booth, who sadly died in July, we have also created something very close to our hearts.
Through Revive, we regularly meet people who need counselling but whose financial circumstances mean that even subsidised fees can be beyond their reach.
The John Booth Hardship Fund will build a dedicated pot of funding to provide free or further subsidised counselling for children, young people and adults experiencing financial hardship.
Dad was someone who cared about people and was always willing to help others. It feels fitting that his name will continue through a fund that helps people access support during some of the most difficult times in their lives.
If you would like to donate, however small, or simply share the fund with others, we would be incredibly grateful. 💙
