A morning filled with music 🎷♥️ Today we were delighted to welcome Lou back!

Lou spent the morning visiting residents in their rooms, making sure everyone had the chance to enjoy some live music. From classical and jazz to blues and special requests, there was plenty of singing along, feet tapping and hands clapping. 🎶

🌟 Fun, Games, and Smiles at Weald Heights! 🌟 Today, our wonderful residents have been keeping their minds sharp and their spirits high with a variety of their favorite activities.From piecing together intricate puzzles and playing a lively game of Scrabble, to enjoying some reading and testing their dexterity with pick-up sticks. What a wonderful way to celebrate the end of summer! 💛 This was our 2nd year running this special event, and we are so grateful to everyone who joined us — our residents, their families, carers and managers. You truly are the heart of our home. 🏡❤️

A huge thank you to our amazing Kitchen Team for all the delicious food and drinks, and to our sister home, Invicta Court Care Home, for joining us, and to our lovely local police officers for stopping by and celebrating with us too. 👮‍♀️👮‍♂️💙

And a very special thank you to Keely for keeping our toes tapping and getting us all singing along! 🎶💃
It was so lovely to welcome new faces, spend time together and make more happy memories.

Sometimes the simplest activities bring back the loveliest memories ♥️

Joan enjoyed a little trip to the shops to pick up our baking ingredients, sharing fond memories of baking for her family over the years. Then it was back home, aprons on and mixing bowls at the ready, to make a batch of vanilla cupcakes together 🧁

24 cupcakes… gone in 10 minutes! We think our residents gave them their seal of approval 😂♥️

🏆 The results are in from Weald Heights Crufts! 🐾The afternoon was filled with wagging tails, happy barks, and so much laughter today as we hosted our very own crufts. Every single dog brought so much joy and endless smiles. A massive thank you to the lifestyle team and chef for making it happen and the families who brought their beautiful dogs along to make the afternoon so special for our residents.Check out some of our proud champions in the photos below! 🏅👇
