🙌 Starch Iodine Test for Excessive Sweating (Palmar Hyperhidrosis) 🙌

Did you know there is a simple way to accurately identify areas of excessive sweating before treatment?

The Starch Iodine Test is a diagnostic procedure used to assess hyperhidrosis (excessive sweating). An iodine solution is applied to the skin, followed by a fine starch powder. Areas producing excessive sweat turn a dark blue-black colour, allowing us to clearly map the affected regions.

This helps to:
✔️ Confirm the diagnosis of hyperhidrosis
✔️ Identify the exact areas causing concern
✔️ Guide treatment planning with greater precision
✔️ Monitor treatment outcomes over time

✨ Under-Eye Polynucleotides ✨

If you've recently had under-eye polynucleotide treatment, you may notice small bumps or raised areas immediately afterwards — this is completely normal and an expected part of the treatment process 💙

These tiny bumps occur because the product is placed precisely beneath the skin and will gradually settle as it disperses into the tissue. In most cases, they begin to reduce within 24–48 hours, although this can vary from person to person.

Polynucleotides are designed to improve skin quality over time by supporting the skin's natural regenerative processes, helping to improve hydration, texture and the appearance of the delicate under-eye area ✨

Remember, the bumps are temporary — the long-term goal is healthier, brighter and more rejuvenated-looking skin.
