As August slowly passes by, I am growing more and more excited about the events that I will be joining this Autumn!

The Autumn Festival at Emmetts Garden (National Trust) is one of them!

I will not only join as a stall holder with my Vibrational Mushroom Essences, but also be a guest speaker to talk about Medicinal Mushrooms.

On Sunday October 18th at 2.30pm , I will go through an overview of mushrooms traditional uses in natural medicine, modern day uses and clinic researches on their main bioactive compounds and molecules.

I will also cover how to prepare mushroom medicine and how and why mushrooms can benefit our health, longevity and relisience.

I will cover how to integrate them in cooking and why and share useful tips to navigate the dilemma on how to choose the right products in a growing market that is saturated with misleading information and poor quality products.

I will be sharing the stage with a list of incredible speakers and I am looking forward to listening to all of them as a bonus!!

Early birds tickets on sale until August 31st on Emmetts Garden website.

When : October 16th to October 18 (talks from Friday to Sunday)

Where : Emmetts Garden

Enjoy a cosy day out in nature while connecting and learning more about it!

After taking a few weeks of rest from the clinic, and while working quietly behind the scenes on projects and collaborations for this Autumn and Winter, I still make time to connect with the herbs.

There is something deeply grounding about gathering them, sitting with their scents, tying them into bundles and hanging them to dry, knowing they will accompany me through the darker, colder months ahead.

At the moment, I’m preparing Rosemary, Mugwort, Lavender and Sage bundles.

Some will be used as herbal teas to warm me up in colder months, while others will be added to my herb fumigation pot to cleanse the home and clear stagnant or negative energies.

Rosemary - Herbalists have long used it particularly in connection with digestion, liver support and micro-circulation to the brain . In European folklore it also became a plant of remembrance, protection and fidelity, appearing at both weddings and funerals.

Mugwort- One of those wonderfully mysterious herbs with a very old relationship with people. Traditionally used as a bitter digestive herb, emmenagogue and strongly connected in European folk tradition with travellers, protection and the threshold between the everyday and unseen worlds. It has also gathered associations with dreams and divination over the centuries.

Lavender- A beloved herb traditionally associated with calm, rest and sleep, as well as being used for its wonderfully aromatic qualities. In folk traditions, lavender has long been connected with cleanliness, protection, love and peace within the home.

Sage- A treasured household and medicinal herb for centuries, traditionally used particularly for digestion, hot flushes and for the mouth and throat. Its folklore is entwined with wisdom, longevity, protection and purification β€” a plant that has held an important place in both the kitchen and the home medicine cupboard.

I love remembering that our relationship with herbs is about so much more than a list of properties. It is about knowing the plants. Growing them. Gathering them at the right time. Preserving them. Learning their stories and remembering how powerful they can be.

I'm incredibly honoured to be speaking at the National Trust Autumn Festival at Emmetts Garden this October, alongside an inspiring line-up of authors, gardeners, scientists and nature experts!

On Sunday 18th October, I'll be giving a talk on Medicinal Mushrooms, exploring how these remarkable fungi have been used for centuries and what modern research is teaching us about their role in supporting immunity, resilience, gut health, cognition and overall wellbeing.

Whether you're completely new to medicinal mushrooms or already fascinated by them, I'd love for you to join me and my fellow speakers!

πŸ‚ Early bird tickets are available until 31 August on the National Trust Website, so now is the perfect time to book if you're thinking of coming.

A huge thank you to the National Trust for the invitation. I can't wait to see some of you there!

Sundays for me have always been lazy days. In the most self-care, nourishing, calming sense that can be associated to this adjective.

Instead of rushing, I like to prepare a breakfast that is colourful, nourishing and made with whole foods that fuel both my body and mind and I love to adapt to the seasons and how I feel each Sunday.

This morning's breakfast includes:

- Gluten-free buckwheat & seeds bread – a wholesome base that provides fibre, minerals and slow-release energy.

- 3 Nut Butter – rich in healthy fats, plant protein and vitamin E to keep me satisfied and support brain and hormone health.

- Strawberries – naturally high in vitamin C and antioxidants that help protect our cells.

- Blueberries – packed with anthocyanins that support brain function and healthy ageing.

- Live cultures Coconut yogurt – a delicious dairy-free option that helps create a creamy breakfast and, when it contains live cultures, supports gut health.

- Raw cacao – one of my favourite additions, providing magnesium and antioxidant flavonoids that support mood and relaxation.

- A warm cup of Rooibos (Red Bush) tea – naturally caffeine-free, rich in antioxidants and the perfect companion for a peaceful morning.

β˜€οΈ I also make a point of stepping outside, even if only for a few minutes. Feeling the morning sun on my face helps regulate my circadian rhythm, while listening to the birds and spending time in nature reminds me to slow down and be present.

For me, health isn't just about what I eat. It's also about how I eat, the pace I choose, and the moments I allow myself to reconnect with nature especially on Sundays.

Sometimes the most powerful medicine is simply slowing down and be present.

A consultation doesn't end when my patient leaves the clinic.
In fact, the most important part of work happens afterwards.
This is where I sit with each case, review every detail, analyse the patterns, and carefully formulate a truly bespoke treatment plan.

Every herbal prescription, homeopathic formulation and nutritional recommendation is built specifically for the individual.

My ethos is that very person deserves to be treated as a whole human being, not as a diagnosis and so taking the time to understand the complete picture allows me to create formulations that are as unique as the person receiving them.

This quiet part of my work is rarely seen, but it is where so much of the fundation of healing journey begins.

Hello!! It has been a while since I last introduced myself and my clinic.

My name is Antonella Artemisia Di Cillo, a Master Medical Herbalist, Functional Herbal Therapy Practitioner, Homeopath, Iridologist, Nutritionist, Functional Mushrooms Expert and Bioresonance Practitioner.

I run a multidisciplinary clinic in Kent, seeing patients in person or online and I offer personalised consultations to both children and adults and with a focus in supporting patients with chronic or complex conditions (such as gut health, hormonal and endocrine balance, peri-menopause and menopause, autoimmune disorders, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, Lyme disease, infertility, skin conditions, ADHD, autism, neurodegenerative diseases and cancer).

My work focuses on identifying root causes, restoring balance, and activating the body’s innate intelligence.

My background includes courses in Integrative Oncology and Integrative Immuno-Pathology and a clinical focus on Neurodegenerative and Neuroimmune conditions as part of my herbal medicine studies.

My approach combines homeopathy, herbalism, iridology, nutrition, medicinal mushrooms and in house Bioresonance hair analysis, so that supporting protocols and prescriptions deliver precise, individualised care.

If you have had a diagnosis for which you would like additional support, unexplained symptoms, you've run out of options or you would simply like to work preventatively, you can book a free no obligation 30 minute discovery call either via my website in bio or emailing [email protected]

On my way back from Somerset earlier today I stopped in Wincanton at to meet the inspiring woman, enterpreneur and the producer of what I consider the best Flower Essences in the UK!

I was introduced to her work by a dear friend of mine Eminè quite a few years ago and since then, I have been one of Saskia's biggest fans!

And although my Mushroom Essences are vibrationally very different from Flower Essences, the passion that we both share for the creation and the use of Vibrational Essences is the same and spending a little time with Saskia today was the best way to end a splendid 5 days in Somerset!

Ready to go back to my clinic and to my patients!

On Day 3 (and final day), a heartfelt thank you to Elaine, the wonderful organiser of the Healing Weekend in Somerset for creating such a beautiful space where practitioners of natural medicine, holistic therapies and energy healing could come together to share their knowledge, skills and passion with the community.

Weekends like this are a reminder that healing comes in many forms, and that traditional healing practices, many of which have supported people for centuries, should continue to have a valued place in health and wellbeing.

In a world where pharmaceutical and commercial interests can often overshadow more traditional ways of caring for ourselves, it is encouraging to see spaces that honour choice, connection, education and the wisdom of these longstanding healing traditions.

Thank you for your vision, your dedication and all the hard work that made this weekend possible, Elaine! It has been a privilege to be part of it, and I hope it continues to grow and inspire many more people in the years ahead. 🌿✨
