Why Skincare Matters on the Slopes ⛷️ ✨

When skiing, your skin is exposed to a triple threat:
high-altitude UV rays, freezing temperatures, and strong wind. Snow reflects up to 80% of UV radiation, meaning potential skin damage is more severe from a day skiing, than a day at the beach.

2. Deep Hydration Is Non-Negotiable 💦

Cold air and wind rapidly dehydrate the skin. Apply a rich, barrier-strengthening moisturizer.

Key benefit: Prevents tightness, flaking, and irritation caused by cold exposure.

3. High-Protection Sunscreen (The Hero Step) 🧴

Use a broad-spectrum SPF 30–50+, even on cloudy days. Reapply every 2 hours, focusing on the nose, cheeks, and lips.

Why it matters:
• UV intensity increases with altitude
• Snow reflects sunlight
• Cold temperatures don’t reduce sun damage

If you wouldn’t ski without goggles, don’t ski without SPF!

4. Lip Protection

Lips are extremely vulnerable in alpine conditions. Apply a SPF lip balm frequently to prevent cracking, burning, and peeling.

5. Wind & Cold Barrier 🧴

Before heading out, apply a protective balm or cold-weather cream to exposed areas. This creates a physical shield against windburn and moisture loss.
