Reformer Maintenance.
My reformers are real work horses and they need looking after. I’ve been replacing the wheels and the foot bars on two reformers today. Just to give you some context, these replacements cost just under £500 but are essential for performance!😬

🌞 Mixed-Ability Pilates at Sun-Kissed Studios, Gillingham 🌞

Today was Stable Bodies Movement Day! Session 1 was mobility using biomechanic exercises with a touch of plyometrics for bone health. Then a hilarious session of reformer on the Mat, a combination of foam rollers, stretch bands and paper plates. A quiz on protein at lunch provided some valuable insights of how much, when and what’s best. We progressed to deadlift technique drills building up to the deadlift bar, everyone was amazing. Finally a fascial unwind with the golden balls and yoga. Breaks were filled with home made Easter biscuits and lemon cake and chocolate avocado cake made by my lovely mum. I’m terrible at taking pictures but Ashmore Hall was a beautiful setting and the 8 participants were fantastic.
