☀️ Summer at The Cedars Nursing Home ☀️

What a wonderful summer we've been having here at The Cedars! Our home has been filled with laughter, smiles, music and precious moments shared together.

Over the past few weeks, our residents have enjoyed a fantastic variety of entertainment, engaging activities, creative crafts, games and social gathering.
Every day brings new opportunities to have fun, stay active and create lasting memories with friends, family and our dedicated team.

At The Cedars, we believe it's the little moments that make the biggest difference, a shared laugh, a favourite song, a friendly chat or celebrating special occasions together. These moments help make our home a place full of warmth, happiness and companionship.

💙A huge thank you to our amazing staff, entertainers and families for helping make this summer so special. Your kindness, enthusiasm and support mean the world to our residents.

☀️What a warm week it's been☀️
Despite the heat, we've made sure our residents stayed comfortable and safe.
At the beginning of the week, we organised a lovely garden picnic, where residents, relatives, staff enjoyed live music, delicious refreshments and lots of smiles. For those who weren't able to join us outside, we brought the picnic experience to their rooms, ensuring everyone could be part of the fun and enjoy special one - to - one time.
Throughout the week, we've also been keeping everyone cool, with cold drinks, ice creams, fans, AC and regular wellbeing checks.
💙A huge thank you to our wonderful team for going the extra mile to make sure every resident had a safe and enjoyable week.

Last Sunday, we enjoyed a lovely Father's Day with our residents and their families. It was wonderful to see relatives visiting, sharing smiles and making special memories.

🌸 What a lovely day yesterday! Our residents enjoyed the sunshine, fresh air and wonderful company in the garden. 🌞

🍻To celebrate "Beer Day Britain" last Monday at The Cedars Nursing Home, we recreated an afternoon at the pub. Residents and staff enjoyed non-alcoholic beers, good conversation, singing and plenty of laughter in a warm and friendly atmosphere. It was a wonderful way to bring back happy memories and enjoy time together. Cheers🍺😄

This week we celebrated Carers Week at The Cedars Nursing Home.
Although Carers Week recognises the dedication of carers, we would like to take this opportunity to thank every member of our team. Every staff member plays an important role in caring for and supporting our residents, whether directly or behind the scenes.

🧀 Happy National Cheese Day 🧀
Today at The Cedars Nursing Home we celebrated National Cheese Day with our residents and staff. Everyone enjoyed sampling variety of delicious cheeses, sharing stories and spending quality time together.
It was wonderful to see so many smiles and to enjoy such a simple pleasure together ❤️
