🦔 A day full of walks and a drop-in visit turned into an unexpected rescue mission. 🦔
While out on a dog walk, I spotted this little hedgehog and knew something wasn’t quite right. Hedgehogs are usually active at night, so seeing one out during the day can often be a sign that they need help.
After speaking with , we decided it was best to get him checked over. If he had turned out to be a healthy mum simply searching for food for her babies, the plan was to return her to where she was found.
Instead, we discovered this little boy was very hungry, likely dehydrated, and may also have some issues with his eyes. He has been named Seagar, after the place where he was found, and he’s now getting the care he needs. Fingers crossed he’s on the road to recovery. ❤️
Hedgehog numbers are declining, and sometimes the smallest acts of kindness can make the biggest difference. If you ever spot a hedgehog out during the daytime, don’t ignore it—getting advice from a local rescue could help save a life. 🦔✨
