Some information for our class of 2027 🎓

Primary school applications are now open for September 2027.

If your child was born between 1 September 2022 and 31 August 2023, now is the time to start thinking about their journey into school.

Applying online is quick and easy, and our primary school guide can help you explore your options and choose the school that's right for your child.

Apply before Friday 15 January 2027 at barnsley.gov.uk/schooladmissions.

Yesterday we said farewell to the last of our Class of 2026 🎓

Thank you to the parents for your continued support and we hope all the children love their new schools ✏️

They are an amazing group of children who we know will go on to do amazing things and we will miss them at Willow Tree. We may have been a small part in their story but they have been a huge part in ours ♥️

Last week our older children got stuck in preparing their own snack for themselves and the younger children. They enjoyed a mix of healthy fruits and vegetables 🍌🥒🥕🍅

Willow Tree Class of 2026 🎓

Today we celebrated our class of 2026 graduates. We had a lovely picnic and enjoyed some well earned cake 🍰

Willow Tree also celebrated it's 3rd birthday yesterday and this is our biggest group of school leavers so far.

We have loved watching each one of the children grow, learn and they have become a group of amazing children ❤️

We know you will love school but we will miss you all so much. You have all been a huge part of Willow Tree.

Today is a VERY sad day, our chicks go back to the farm 😭

It's been an incredible experience watching them hatch, grow, and become part of our everyday routine.

Despite the worry, stress, and a fair few sleepless nights...it always feels worth it when parents tell us the children haven't stopped talking about the chicks at home and seeing them rush in to check on them in a morning.

So many people have shared that they still remember having chicks when they were at school, a real reminder that what we do and expose children to, can have a life long impact!

We'll miss our fluffy little friends 😭 Safe travels back to the farm, chicks! 🐣
