Tim Curry, who soared to fame in the ‘70s as the flamboyant star of“The Rocky Horror Show," has died at 80.

A cause of death was not immediately available, though Curry had suffered from several health issues since having a severe stroke in 2012.

Following today's sentencing of the funeral director in Hull, we want to clarify our position with regard to the situation and put people's minds at rest.

It is extremely disturbing that this has happened and our thoughts are with all the families concerned.

Death is a very taboo subject that people avoid but after this situation we need to be more assertive and ask questions.

When a loved one is received in our care they are dealt with dignity and respect as you would expect in life.

Families trust us with their loved ones and it is an honour to have them in our care.

We are the final piece in care and we will always uphold standards and respect our clients wishes.

We are members of the National Association of Funeral Directors
and have to adhere to their code of practice.

We have a complaint procedure which we have never had to use, but any client can complain to the NAFD if they have issues that we cannot resolve.

If you have any concerns our door is always open to discuss any issues or worries that you have.

Once again our hearts go out to the families concerned.

Funeral arrangements for Dad, Bob Butlin.

Wednesday 10th June 2026 2:00pm at Hutcliffe Wood Crematorium.

After the service ' The White Swan, 57 Greenhill Main Road, Greenhill, Sheffield S8 7RB.

Everyone who knew Dad is welcome to attend the service and afterwards to share memories.
