Helping Sheffield stay stronger for longer 💪

Thanks to you, we're proud to have recently funded equipment for the Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust Assessment and Rehabilitation Therapy Team (ARTT), to support patients living with long-term health conditions across Sheffield 👏

Many patients experience a loss of strength, mobility and confidence after illness or periods of inactivity, increasing their risk of falls, frailty and hospital readmission. By funding this equipment, we're helping therapists deliver more effective rehabilitation, expand strength and balance classes in community settings, and support people as they regain their independence.

With your support, patients will improve their wellbeing by staying active, helping them live independently and for longer 💙

It was such an incredible day, and we hope you had an amazing time! Thanks again to the hundreds of amazing people from across Sheffield and beyond, who came together to make a difference for people living with dementia 👏

Red Shoe Walk 2026! 👠

What an incredible day! We’re so grateful and proud of everyone who took part in the walk and helped raise funds for people living with dementia in Sheffield, and those that care for them❤️

Pre-registration for the event has now closed, however, we’d love to see you there, so we will be accepting walk-ups on the day. Head to our helpdesk at Meadowhall’s Orange Car Park (Zone 4) to sign up and take part in the walk 🚶‍♀️

🚑💙 Investing in safer patient care through simulation and training 💙🚑

Thanks to your support, we recently funded a dedicated teaching day at Sheffield Teaching Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, focused on the safe transfer of critically unwell patients between hospitals.

By combining expert-led teaching with an immersive training environment, Anaesthetic Registrars were able to build the skills and confidence needed to manage complex patient transfers safely and effectively.

As part of the training, Yorkshire Ambulance Service NHS Trust joined the day, helping to create a realistic environment that closely reflected real-life clinical practice. 🚑

By supporting innovative education and simulation training, we're helping to enhance learning for NHS staff and improve outcomes for critically ill patients. 👏

Vital training like this is only possible because of your support. Thank you. 💙

We were delighted to attend the pre-season friendly between Rotherham United Football Club and Sheffield United over the weekend ⚽️

Both Reds were proud to show their support for our Red Shoe Walk taking place this weekend at Meadowhall, raising funds for people living with dementia in Sheffield and those who care for them ❤️

We'd also like to wish Millers Legend John Breckin a Happy Birthday too 🎂
