Our journal skills & decorating group was very aesthetically pleasing tonight 🧡🩷💙💜💛

Journals can be used for anything from thought dumps, gratitude, to-do lists, reflections - the options are endless!

Many people who struggle with their mental health find it a really useful coping mechanism as putting pen to paper can calm down racing thoughts and help clear their mind 🧠

(Colourful stickers and markers are optional but highly recommended 😍)

A little reminder as the hot weather continues🌞

Your sensitivity to the heat can sometimes be increased if you are taking medication for your mental health (such as SSRIs, SNRIs or TCAs) meaning you’re more likely to suffer from dehydration and potential sun stroke.

To avoid this, you can make sure you are:
💦 Staying extra hydrated
🧴 Applying SPF on your body and face regularly
👚 Wearing loose comfortable clothes (and a hat!)
⛱️ Taking regular breaks to cool down in the shade
🏃🏼‍♀️ Avoid intense exercise outside

It’s important you continue to take any prescribed medication as normal to ensure your mental health remains taken care of, but doing the above can help you look after your physical health too!
