A huge well done to Sarah’s hugely inspiring patient, Jennifer, who recently completed the Dronfield 10km. Jennifer has been working hard at her rehab as she recovers from a flare of lumbar spondylosis (the fancy term for ‘age related wear and tear’). Her sights are now set on the Round Sheffield Run; 15 miles with over 600m of elevation! Well done, and good luck Jennifer!

Karen visited the physios suffering with a frozen shoulder. A diagnostic ultrasound scan confirmed diagnosis and treatment began on the same day starting with a guided cortisone injection followed by manual therapy and a comprehensive rehabilitation programme.

Seeing the progress that Karen has made has been incredible - a lot of hard work and consistency has gone into her recovery but making an 100% recovery is very much worth it!💪

Huge congratulations to our patient Will who managed to complete Sheffield Half Marathon this year after overcoming what turned out to be very stubborn ankle and knee injuries. The smile on his face says it all- well done Will!

Can you spot where this flag ended up last week⁉️

Clue: It raced 26.2 miles around an old fishing village🏃🏅

Following on from Alex’s google review (check out our latest post if you missed it!😉) we wanted to share his rehab journey back to playing cricket🏏

His progression from day 1 to months down the line is incredible! He’s now returned to cricket and we’re expecting some fantastic knocks this season👀

We’d like to share Alex’s review following his care at the practice. Alex sought our help following the complete rupture of his Achilles last Summer whilst playing cricket.

Since his injury Alex has worked closely with Jon to ensure he would be back on the pitch this season scoring many runs. Keep an eye out for his rehab journey which Alex and Jon have been documenting over the past six months- we will be sharing this shortly.

Last month the team swapped clinical rooms for conference rooms as we travelled to the lovely Shrigley Hall. The trip brought everyone ( all 13 of us!) together to develop clinical excellence across all aspects of the practice from arrival in reception to clinical care.

Part of our time together was to discover more about our values and our WHY - which Paul has shared some insight into via his most recent blog- Hope, Heal and Restore.

Don’t worry though it wasn’t all serious.. swipe to the last photo for Jon’s reaction to making the final round of our table football tournament 😆
