Cervical screening can determine whether you have human papillomavirus (HPV) and changes in your cells that could go on to develop into cancer if left untreated. If you are aged between 25 and 64 it's important to book and attend for screening when invited.

If at any time you feel something isn't right, don’t wait, contact your GP.

Have you tried on your child's coat for the new term?
Have they grown out of it over the summer?
We would love to pass it on to a child who needs it this autumn.

We are sad to share that Manor Fields Park suffered extensive damage yesterday due to a fire.

Members of our team (many of whom are local residents) attended to help and we would like to thank the South Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service and the South Yorkshire Police for their response.

A personal thank you to our local communities who have shared their love and support for The Green Estate team at this difficult time.

Working with the Friends of Manor Fields Park, community partners and volunteers, The Green Estate has ensured that Manor Fields Park has received the prestigious Green Flag Award for the past 12 years. This is proof that the park is a demonstrator for how to develop and manage urban green spaces, which improve health and wellbeing whilst providing a haven for a rich diversity of wildlife.

Unfortunately, this fire has caused extensive harm to flora and fauna in the park, and we are concerned about the trees. Manor Castle ward has an abundance of beautiful green spaces and community spirit. It is these combined factors that will ensure Manor Fields Park will continue to be the well-loved asset it has been despite this setback.

We will assess the full extent of the damage and work with our local communities and partners to clear up, monitor and renew the park so it can continue to be a place for people and nature to thrive. This work will start on Thursday 20th August from 4.30–5.30pm where the Friends of Manor Fields Park, MASKK and The Green Estate will be organising a community event to clear up the fire damage.

If you would like to get involved, please come to the Manor Park Crescent entrance near the cemetery where you will find an information stall. You can also volunteer with The Green Estate or join the brilliant Friends of Manor Fields Park.
