🌮🇲🇽 Our Virtual Cruise has arrived in… Mexico! 🇲🇽🌮

Today our residents enjoyed another exciting stop on our journey around the world as we explored the vibrant culture of Mexico! ❤️💚🤍

We tucked into some delicious tacos, had great fun taking turns trying to smash the piñata, and everyone looked fantastic wearing colourful sombreros! 🎉🌮🎊👒

It was a wonderful afternoon filled with laughter, music, tasty food and plenty of smiles as we discovered a little piece of Mexico together. Experiences like these help create happy memories, encourage conversation, and bring different cultures to life for our residents.

Today we celebrated Yorkshire Day in true Yorkshire style! Our residents enjoyed a wonderful day together, filled with smiles, laughter and plenty of Yorkshire pride. From decorations and themed activities to reminiscing about favourite Yorkshire memories, it was lovely to celebrate the county so many of our residents proudly call home.

There’s no place quite like Yorkshire, and today was a wonderful reminder of the rich history, traditions and community spirit that make it so special.

🎲🐍 Giant Snakes & Ladders Fun at Alexander Court! 🪜💚

Today our residents enjoyed a fantastic game of Giant Snakes & Ladders, bringing plenty of smiles, laughter and a little friendly competition! 🎉

It was wonderful to see everyone getting involved, cheering each other on and enjoying an afternoon filled with fun, movement and great company. Activities like these help encourage gentle exercise, social interaction and, most importantly, lots of happy memories. ❤️

🌞 August is here, and we’ve got another month packed with fun at Alexander Court! 🌞

From baking and book club to our Virtual Cruise, Teddy Bears’ Picnic, Ice Cream Day, exercise sessions and plenty of relaxing activities, there’s something for everyone to enjoy this month. 💜

At Alexander Court, we believe every day should bring opportunities to smile, socialise, reminisce and create new memories. Our activities are designed around our residents’ interests, helping to promote wellbeing, independence and lots of laughter along the way.

A huge thank you to our fantastic Activities Team for putting together another brilliant programme—we can’t wait to get started! 🥰
