If you ever find yourself pausing at a junction as a hearse goes by, could you do something small but meaningful?
Stop for a moment. Bow your head. If you’re wearing a hat or hood, take it off.
And if you’re at a junction, please allow the hearse and the family cars behind it to pass through together. It adds only a minute to your journey — but to the family following their loved one for the last time, it means everything.
It’s an old tradition that quietly says: your loss is noticed, and you are not alone in it.
