There are smiles you simply can’t put a price on. 🥰

Sometimes it’s nothing more than popping in unexpectedly with a little cake, a cup of tea, and some time to connect — no special occasion, no reason needed, just genuine love, kindness and care for the wonderful people we support.

That beautiful smile from Peter’s says it all. ❤️ These moments may seem small to us, but to someone else, they can become a treasured memory — a reminder that they are thought of, valued and cared for.

🌼 A Beautiful Step Forward Today 🌼

Today was a truly special moment for one of our lovely clients. After almost a year of not walking further than her front door, she found the confidence — and the strength — to walk all the way downstairs to the lounge at the Lodge.

With steady encouragement, daily exercises, and the unwavering support of her carers, she has been slowly rebuilding her mobility and her belief in herself. And today, all that gentle persistence paid off.

In the lounge, she was able to reconnect with a very dear friend — someone she used to play Scrabble with before her mobility changed. Seeing them reunited, smiling, chatting, and sharing that familiar bond again was a moment that touched all of us.

These are the victories that matter.
These are the moments that remind us why we care.

🌼 Meet Belle – One of Our Wonderful Walfinch Carers 🌼

Hello everyone, I’m Belle!

I’ve been part of the Walfinch family for almost a year now, and it has truly been one of the most rewarding chapters of my career. I’m a Shepperton local through and through — born and raised here — and when I’m not out supporting our lovely clients, I’m kept busy by my two mischievous sausage dogs and my little cat.

I began caring straight out of school at 17. Over the years I explored a few different professions, but I always found my way back to care. It’s where my heart feels most at home.

What I love most is building genuine connections with my clients — supporting their independence, celebrating their individuality, and being part of the small moments that make a big difference. It’s incredibly fulfilling to know that the work I do helps someone feel safe, valued, and empowered.

Walfinch makes this possible every day. Our amazing team, strong ethics, and of course our wonderful clients create an environment where caring feels meaningful and joyful.

Alongside supporting clients in their homes, some of my favourite moments are spent going for walks, visiting garden centres, and enjoying cosy coffee trips to Nautacalia together.

Here’s to many more mornings, memories, and meaningful moments. 💛

Walfinch HTV Shepperton Supports Battersea Dogs & Cats.

We do it because we care. ❤️

At Walfinch HTV Shepperton, we believe that caring doesn’t stop with people. It extends to every living being that depends on us for kindness, companionship and protection.

That is why we are proud to support Battersea Dogs & Cats Home, an organisation doing wonderful work to give vulnerable animals the care, love and second chances they deserve.

Our carers also play their part, contributing towards this wonderful cause and helping us turn our values of kindness, compassion and care into something that reaches beyond the homes and clients we support every day.

We know how much animals can mean to people — providing companionship, comfort, joy and a sense of purpose. For many of our clients, pets have been an important part of their lives and their memories.

So, for us, supporting Battersea is a natural extension of what we believe in.

🐶 Because caring is about more than providing care.

It is about kindness.
It is about companionship.
It is about protecting those who need us.
And above all, it is about making a difference.

A little moment behind the scenes today. Our Director jumped on a call with one of our carers while she supported a client at home - helping tidy up and prepared breakfast. This client absolutely loves the creativity her carers bring to her meals, and it often turns into a fun little contest between them. It is these small, joyful moments that make care feel personal and full of heart. ❤️
