🧡 "Hello Antonia. I just wanted to thank you once again for celebrating with us at mum’s funeral yesterday. I’ve got to say, that you were simply fantastic! We could not have been more delighted at the way you conducted the service. You were so calm and assured and you made us all feel relaxed. We knew we were in safe hands. It was always going to be a challenging time for us, saying goodbye to someone who’d played a huge part in our lives for so many years. You made it special and, at the celebration after the service, so many people made a point of saying to me how brilliant you were and how the funeral had been so special because of that."

A wet, windy, and emotional wedding yesterday for a gorgeous couple who have been through so much together. They're made for each other, and to preside over their wedding after first meeting them when they lost their baby daughter, was a full circle moment for all three of us. 🧡

Part of a lengthy and amazing message I received following a recent funeral I officiated. I'm choosing to keep most of it private, but I was so touched by this part that I had to share it: "Everyone said you were warm and kind, and you are. It's as though you're made of light. It shines out of you."

Wedding season starts this week for me. The first one this weekend, and I've just come from meeting with another lovely couple getting married next month. The ceremony is going to be in their beautiful garden under some gorgeous driftwood sculptures. 💕

I weirdly enjoy the days when a quickie car picnic between work commitments is on the cards. Possibly because I'm a little bit in love with my car (!), but maybe because I can reset my emotional energy by spending a few minutes alone with my thoughts and a bite to eat. 😊
