💙 CHARITY TUESDAY 💙

This year, Scrapper’s Cup is proudly fundraising for helping children and families across Yorkshire when they need it most 🙌

Incredible Otto is just one example of why your support matters. Otto has been diagnosed with the extremely rare Krabbe Leukodystrophy, and Life for a Kid are helping his family ease financial pressures and, most importantly, make precious memories together.

Excited to cheer on your u9 & open age teams on Saturday 🐻

🐻🔴🔵 We are excited to be hosting the 10th edition of Scrapper's Cup this Saturday 15th August.

The Bears have TWO games for everyone to enjoy!
At 11:30am our u9s will be playing Heworth and at 2:30pm our open age playing Keighly Albion.

The Rugby League All Stars captained by Wayne Godwin featruning Gaz Ellis, Adrian Morley, Stuart Fielden, Lee Gilmour, Jake Webster, Adam SIdlow and more will also be returning as they take on Scrapper's Select at 12:30pm.

There's also plenty happening on the sidelines to enjoy, our kitchen will be OPEN serving food all day plus bouncy castle and zorb fun.

Scrapper had MANY amazing qualities and his althleticism & ability to lead you to PEAK performance was one of them 💪

To honour that & kick start our fundraising for we are starting SCRAPPER’S🔟 as we countdown to our main event on Saturday 15th August!

🔟 Years of rugby 🔟 Years of giving 1️⃣ Purpose

As we count down to Scrapper’s Cup 10th Anniversary on Saturday 15th August, we’re reflecting on our incredible achievements over the last decade 🫶🏼

What started as a small memorial rugby match in loving memory of Steve ‘Scrapper’ Carter MBE has grown into an unmissable community event in Sherburn in Elmet, recognised IN PARLIMET and proudly raising tens of thousands of pounds for British charities 🇬🇧

Anyone who knew Scrapper will remember his kindness, generosity and the way he always put others before himself.

Every pound raised through Scrapper’s Cup goes towards supporting individuals and families when they need it most, making it the perfect tribute to the man who inspired it all. We couldn’t think of a better way to honour his memory ❤️
