As a qualified Menopause Movement Coach, bone health is something I really want more women to understand through perimenopause and menopause.
This stage of life isn’t just about managing symptoms. During perimenopause and menopause, declining oestrogen can affect bone density and increase the importance of protecting muscle and bone health.
That’s one of the reasons strength training matters so much. 💪
It isn’t simply about looking strong. It helps support muscle, balance, function, confidence and bone health — all things that can help us stay active and independent for longer.
We can’t prevent every fracture, but we can take steps to support our strength and bone health now. 💙🦴
And where there are concerns or risk factors, getting appropriate medical advice and support matters too.
Strong women deserve more than a workout. They deserve informed support 💙
