Help us build a better Natural Health Store.

As a thank you for helping shape the future of the store, everyone who comments will be entered into a draw to win one of three Natural Health gift bags, filled with some of our favourite products.

Over the coming month, whilst some of the team enjoy a well-earned summer break, and Agnes continues her recovery after a recent hospital procedure, we're taking the opportunity to refresh and expand the Health Store.

The team will be back in full swing from mid-August, and in the meantime, we're making room for some exciting new additions. Alongside many of the trusted brands you already know and love, we'll be introducing carefully selected new ranges, including Hifas da Terra medicinal mushrooms, BetterYou oral sprays, Bare Biology high-potency omega-3 and collagen, together with beautiful new natural oral care and body care collections. We're also exploring more locally made and award-winning products that share our commitment to quality, sustainability and effectiveness.

We don't follow trends. We choose products because we believe in their quality, their ethics and, above all, because we'd be happy to recommend them to our own family. Wherever possible, we support UK businesses, choose natural and organic ingredients, and work with brands that are kind to people and the planet.

We're also making the store brighter, easier to browse and an even better place to discover trusted natural health products and ask for professional advice.

Bring your supplements and, if you have them, your recent blood test or health screening results. Yesterday was a brilliant ‘school’ day spent at the Viridian Nutrition HQ with fellow independent health store owners from across the UK. A huge thank you, goes to Holly and the whole team for such a warm welcome and a genuinely fascinating day of learning.

We explored everything from blood sugar balance and healthy ageing to brain health and cognitive decline… and yes, there really are that many different forms of magnesium! 🤯

In a world where new health products launch everyday and social media is full of conflicting advice or wild claims, days like yesterday are a great reminder of the value of working with long-established, ethical companies that put quality, research and transparency at the heart of their business!

As they say, every day is a school day, learning is important to all of us because it means we can give our customers clear, balanced advice and help you choose products that are genuinely appropriate for you…. And,not too much of it!

Have you been wondering where to start with Nutrition? You might well think you're eating all the right things, but how can you tell whether your body is responding as you'd like? If you've ever wondered where to start with nutrition, or whether working one-to-one with a nutritional therapist might be worth exploring, we'd love to invite you to a free consultation with James from the team!

These informal sessions are designed to help you take a look at your current diet, lifestyle and / or supplementation routine, and explore areas for improvement, or efficacy.

To help build a more complete picture, you're welcome to bring along:
• Recent blood test results
• Details of any supplements you're taking
• A list of current medications
• Any questions you'd like to discuss

James is a Nutrition Advisor at Viridian Nutrition and graduated from Birmingham City University with a BSc (Hons) in Sport & Exercise Nutrition. He regularly helps people better understand the relationship between nutrition, lifestyle and wellbeing, and takes a practical, holistic approach to supporting healthy choices.
