We had a wonderful and very nostalgic day at Heathview Rose, celebrating the memories of Shirley and Solihull.

Residents enjoyed an afternoon filled with reminiscence, including a fantastic singer performing popular hits from the 1960s and 1970s, bringing back many fond memories and plenty of smiles. We also had a cinema-style display featuring photographs and scenes from years gone by, sparking conversations and shared stories.

To round off the day, everyone enjoyed a traditional fish and chips tea, which was thoroughly appreciated by all.

A lovely day of music, memories, laughter and companionship, celebrating the people, places and moments that mean so much to our residents.

We had a wonderful day out today with our lovely resident Ann and Belisa, our Customer Relations, and we were so grateful for the opportunity to visit St James the Great Church. It was a blessing to join in prayer and worship and to hear the prayers led by Rev’d Richard Haynes, Curate at Shirley Parish.

We give thanks for the warm welcome we received and for the fellowship shared together. May God continue to bless the ministry of St James the Great and all who worship there.

Today we had a wonderful gathering at Heathview Rose as we came together to celebrate the King’s Birthday. 🇬🇧👑

Residents and staff enjoyed a delightful afternoon filled with delicious traditional treats, honouring this special occasion in true British style. It was a lovely opportunity to share stories, laughter, and create cherished memories together.

A lovely baking day at Heathview Rose today🧁🍰

Our residents had a wonderful time baking a delicious, light and refreshing cake together. There were plenty of smiles, laughter, and a bit of friendly debate about the secret to a proper bake!

After all their hard work, everyone enjoyed a stroll around the garden, making the most of the fresh air and lovely surroundings, followed by a well-deserved cuppa and a slice of cake.

As they say, “a piece of cake and a good natter can put the world to rights!”

We met some fantastic teams who work so hard every day to care for our older generation. Their dedication, kindness, and commitment to making people’s lives better really is inspiring.

We also had the chance to share all the exciting activities and events we have coming up at Heathview Rose. There’s plenty going on, and everyone is welcome to come along, join in, and be part of our wonderful community.
